Hi!

My name is Maddie, known online as luckytackyy. Alternative fashion has been my passion for a while now - initially, I had a lot of fun with dark and edgy looks, but as time went on I discovered 'decora', a fashion style with an emphasis on everything funky, colourful and ott! Fueled by my adoration of both styles I began to custom create 'split' looks, outfits I hand-crafted to be half decora, half dark.

I decided to take it a step further and try to launch my own brand of split clothing after I had a really epic response to these outfits online! Starting on Kickstarter, with the help of so many absolutely amazing people we raised OVER the goal target and Lucky Tacky officially became reality - WOO!!!

And that's how you're here now, reading this. I'm so excited and grateful to be doing this, it's my dream. I don't often talk about this on my socials, and here feels like an appropiate place to talk about it. A big part of the reason I've started my own business journey is, of course, to share my love for split fashion. I adore it so so much. But I'm also hoping I can earn enough money so I can move me and my two kids to a better, safer area of the UK, and get a house with a garden so I can pimp it out into a big playground for them like i've always wanted! I am deeply unhappy where I live currently and I am very far from my friends. Living where we are, I really, really struggle from day to day. This business feels like a huge step toward acheiving that dream. So thank you so much for your support, it means the world to me!
